Mary-Kaitlin E. Rigney is an associate with Betts & Holt LLP. Since joining Betts & Holt LLP, Ms. Rigney has focused on transactional and regulatory matters concerning oil pipeline rates, electricity rates, and energy contracts.  

Ms. Rigney graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law in 2016. During law school Ms. Rigney served as a senior staff member on the American University Law Review. Ms. Rigney’s Comment, “Clogging the Pipeline: Exploring the D.C. Circuit’s Improper Segmentation Analysis in Delaware Riverkeeper Network v. FERC and its Implications for United States’ Domestic Natural Gas Production,” was published in Volume 64.6 of the American University Law Review in 2015. Ms. Rigney was also actively involved in the Energy Law Society and served as the Treasurer.
